Jennifer Nevells

I am very excited to be joining the team and working with you all in the best interests of our members. I come to you with nearly 26 years of experience working with people with various disabilities and behaviors.

I spent the first twenty years of my career as a special educator/administrator specifically working with students who struggled with learning and behaviors. I then moved, for a short time, to Behavioral Health Home Case Management Services, where I quickly realized I enjoyed the connection in working with people directly. This led me to the field of Adult Residential Services.

I spent the past 18 months at OHI, where I specialized in writing behavior plans, positive support plans, and conducting functional assessments for adults in residential care with intellectual disabilities.

I have two beautiful children; Kole, who is 20 and Elaina, who is 11. Outside of work I like to walk and hike, listen to music, draw, read, and knit. My favorite movie genre is thriller/suspense, and I love all types of music, especially alternative rock. I love coffee, chocolate, and spreading peace, love, and kindness!
