Maxwell Haney

Maxwell Haney graduated from The University of Maine in Farmington in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. He started his career at STRIVE as a teaching assistant for young adults with developmental disabilities and has worked in the mental health field for about 8 years. Before joining the Serenity team, he was working with individuals with mental illnesses as the Portland field supervisor for Direct Community Care. Currently, he is in the process of completing his master’s degree in counseling education at The University of Southern Maine with the hopes of becoming an LCPC. Outside of work, Maxwell enjoys sports, playing the guitar and drawing. He has a dog named Cocoa and two cats named Cookie and Cheddar.
